Already opened all your Pokemon TCG Pocket packs for the day but in sore need of something pocket monster related to do? Pokemon TV is back from the dead with anime episodes galore

If you want to go on a Pokemon nostalgia trip after it’s closed TCG Pocketthen you’ll be happy to hear that Pokemon TV is back!

At the beginning of the year, The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon TV is an anime viewing program would be closed. This didn’t go down so well with anime fans, as it forced fans to subscribe to eight different streaming services to watch it all. It was a real shame because even though the anime is a mixed bag, there’s still a lot to love and stuff like this should be more accessible! There is some good news, as earlier this week the Pokemon Company brought back Pokemon TV as a YouTube channel, with many episodes to watch from the first season.

Watch it on YouTube

Right now, you can watch up to episode 14 of the first season, but with Indigo League, the playlist only shows 25 episodes, so there’s more to come. “Welcome to the official Pokémon TV YouTube channel where you can explore the world of Pokémon with Ash & Pikachu!” explains the about section of the channel. “Relive the highlights of their adventure with our full episodes, live streams, compilations and more!” It’s unclear how livestreams and compilations might manifest, but this seems like your best bet to check out the Pokemon anime, given that it’s completely free!

It all seems to be done very neatly, as all the episodes are time-stamped with the various important moments that happen in them, so you know exactly what you’re in for. Plus, it seems like a good way to spend some time in the Pokemon world, considering it’s been almost an entire year since we’ve had any word on the main game. Pokemon Legends: ZA it’s currently on the docket where we’ll hear more about the next Pokemon Day, February 27th, but until then we’ll have to keep unpacking Pokemon TCG Pocket.
