Actual-play podcast, animated series, and now, video games? The cast of Critical Role are hoping to have “something really exciting to share” by the end of the year

A critical role is celebrating its 10th anniversary next year, and it looks like the next big step for actual playable podcasting is video games.

It wasn’t really a surprise that something like Critical Role, a Dungeons and Dragons a podcast featuring some much-loved voice actors would come out as is. People love DnD, and who better to be in the game than a bunch of voice actors? There have been all kinds of expansions, all kinds of tie-ins, and in 2022 it even got an animated adaptation. But what’s next? Well, according to a recent profile of the cast in Rolling Stone, video games, apparently!
